From-the-Field is for current members to present information on their ongoing research. We welcome images, short video clips, and a short description of your project. Current pages include: How to send your material : Text must be in Microsoft Word (for PC or Mac) or Appleworks (Mac). Images must be in JPEG or GIF format. If you wish to show large images, send thumbnails as well. Video should preferably be compressed to a .mov Quicktime file, no larger than 7 meg, and e-mailed along with images. If this is not possible, video must be pre-edited, and clips transferred to a DV tape. Maximum length of each clip is 2 minutes. Maximum number of clips is 4.
